The Wild West Collection Index

This index is from a collection of original newspaper clippings from the late 1800s to the very early 1900s. The clippings were pasted over the pages of a copy of an early photography book, Wilsons Photographics published in 1881. About 90% of the books pages have been used as a scrapbook for the clipping collection.

The clippings relate to a larger number of events and characters of the old wild west, early exploration, encounters with Indians, and historical and local events. The clippings are, of course, yellowed with age and somewhat ragged at the edges. Virtually most are readable and make fascinating reading. Because of the intense yellowing I am offering both color photocopies as they will be easier to read and black & white; your choice. Color copies will be $1.75 each plus a self addressed stamped envelope. Black & white will be $1 plus a self addressed stamped envelope.
